About Chris DeLorenzo:
Chris teaches writing at Laguna Writers, Writing Pad, the Writing Salon, the USF and has written articles for Match.com and Nitevibe.com. He has published poetry, prose and personal essays in various publications including The Rockhurst Review and Karamu. He has also written a novel, Certain Sacred Places. Chris is currently finishing his second novel, All That Remains, an unconventional story about AIDS, gal-pals, romance (or the lack thereof) and loss. Chris has an MFA in creative writing from University of San Francisco and is a certified Amherst Writers and Artists (AWA) facilitator.
About Marilyn Friedman:
Marilyn is the founder and lead instructor at Writing Pad. She has taught writing in the Bay Area and in Los Angeles for the past five years, including classes at Walt Disney Studios. Her poetry has been published in Pearl, Karamu, Squaw Valley Review, California Quarterly, and The Great American Poetry Show. She has written articles on love and dating for Match.com. Currently working on a memoir about her experiences as a swing dancer, Marilyn has a BA in English and Writing from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a Master’s Degree from Boston University.
