Marilyn has taught writing in the Bay Area and in Los Angeles for the past seven years, including classes at Pixar, Walt Disney Studios, The Writing Salon, and the Southern California Writers Conference. Her poetry has been published in Pearl, Squaw Valley Review, California Quarterly, Karamu, and The Great American Poetry Show. She has written articles on love and dating for Match.com and is currently working on a memoir about her experiences as a swing dancer and a collection of work inappropriate poems. Marilyn has a BA in English and Writing from University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign and a Master’s Degree from Boston University.

- Jeff Bernstein
Jeff has taught classes at the Art Institute, the Academy of Art, CCA, and Expressions Center for New Media. As a painter, his work has been exhibited nationally at the Stephen Wirtz gallery, The Geoffrey Young gallery, and the Catherine Clark gallery. As a 3D Artist, he’s brought digital characters to the screen for Dreamworks Animation, Sony Imageworks, Disney, and ILM. Jeff holds a BA in Art History from the University of Pennsylvania and an MFA from the Art Institute in San Francisco.

– Andrea Ruth
Andrea runs her own gourmet sandwich and catering company, Omnibus Delecto (Everything’s Delicious). She has interned at Suzanne Goin’s A.O.C. and has taught cooking classes at Piccolo Chef. Andrea is a graduate of the professional program at the New School of Cooking, and a lifelong cook, foodie and gourmet. She has many culinary talents ranging from being the Salad Queen of The Universe (she will change the way you view salad forever), to making pecan praline baked french toast, buttermilk raspberry cakes, truffled mac and cheese, and the best banana puddings you have ever tasted! Andrea is also a professional actor and comic.

Amy is the Editor of www.wellfedmuse.blogspot.com and a Staff Writer at Writing Pad. She has published a children's book, "Too Many Monkeys,” and her poems have been published in Origami Condom. She is a regular contributing writer to the popular Los Angeles blog, “Fierce and Nerdy,”and has read her poetry and short stories at Chi Chi's Word Parlor. Amy attended Southwestern University with a Theatre Major and Creative Writing Minor. She is currently working on two books: one about "The Year That Sucked" and another about her Grandmother’s life.
